Time Lapse

Perhaps the best way to explain Time Lapse photography is to simply quote wikipedia:

“Time Lapse Photography is a specialization of Cinematography whereby fixed number of still images are captured at a specific interval, to record the evolution of an activity or event over time.
Processes that would normally appear subtle to the human eye, such as the motion of the sun and stars in the sky, become very pronounced. “

SHOWREEL 01 – Lagos Time Lapse (2009)

eXperience 2010 Time Lapse

For the second year running, MOdAMO was chosen to provide time lapse photography services to cover arguably the biggest gospel musical concert on the continent.

With invaluable lessons learnt the previous year, we were able to make recommendations to the organizers (House on the Rock) on hour to improve on various aspects of the production.

Without any doubt, having a client that sees you as a partner instead of being just another service provider is a blessing. The House on the Rock is one such client, and is always a blessing to collaborate with them.

The Experience 2009 Time Lapse

In 2009, MOdAMO was the preferred Time Lapse Photographers for the eXperience (2009).

The eXperience 2009, convened and hosted by Pastor Paul Adefarasin of the House on the Rock Church,
is an inter-denominational concert and arguably the biggest Gospel Concert in the world, with an estimated 500,000 in attendance.

Our work included pre-event time lapse photography as the venue, The Tafawa Balewa Square complex at Onikan, Lagos was being setup, as well as 18-hour plus multi-angle capture of the actual concert event.

Added to its beauty which fires human curiosity is the fact that the entire people of Idanre lived on these boulders for almost a millennium.”
These clips were shot using a Canon EOS 30D and 350D with intervalometers connected.
